Previous Planetside experience: I started playing PS2 since release and stopped at around July 2013. I'm now looking to start playing regularly again.

Outfit history (if applicable): This may be a bit longer than usual to explain. I first played PS2 as TR before I knew what was really going on. I found out my friends had joined Deathwatch Gaming (DWG), so I deleted my original TR character to join with them. When I left DWG, I had no reason to remain VS, so I deleted my VS character and returned to TR. I joined Sound of Violence (SoV) and remained with them until I stopped playing PS2 in July 2013. As for why I delete the characters rather than create a new one, it's because I'm really possessive about the username "Dictatorfish".

Other (online) games you have played / achievements: I've played many games in the past and my "main" games over the past few years: Global Agenda, Tribes: Ascend, Hawken. Achievements? Unless you've played Global Agenda, any achievements I mention won't really make sense. (Maybe even more so if your experience of the game is only after the Amsterdam-Rsquad era because *everyone* has freecapped their way to Eternal Glory by now. That thing used to mean something, dammit.)

Do you have a mic? Yes/No: Yes

What you hope to bring to BRTD: That depends on what BRTD would like from me. I have a strong bias towards organised, squad-based play, so following orders and sticking with the squad is something I would actually prefer to do rather than just do because I'm told to. I am very out of practice right now, but I used to be a squad leader and that can come back with practice. In addition, I - along with fellow tactical officers - designed and ran drills and training sessions at both DWG and SoV. My work schedule makes it tricky to take up this role again, but I'm happy to help where ever I can.

What made you choose this outfit over any other organized outfit? Good memories from fighting alongside yourselves, as well as playing with as a guest in your squads when SoV weren't running operations.

How did you hear about Better Red Than Dead At first, fighting against you guys when I was in DWG. When I returned to TR, the decision of which TR outfit to join was primarily between you guys and SoV.

What is your preferred play style: Infantry/Armour/Aircraft? Infantry, Medic.

Anything else you'd like to add: Because of late work shifts, I'm mainly going to be active during weekends rather than weekdays. Also, I haven't played for nearly a year, so I'm really **** right now. Again, it'll come back with practice.

Your battle Rank: 46

Edit:
Oh my god, guys, I don't believe you haven't changed your Mumble server details for nearly 2 years!

Welcome to BRTD Dictatorfish,

I would like to take the time to welcome you as a trial member of BRTD! You have been accepted on a 4-6 week trial basis which is a standard procedure for all new recruits. It is required that you download Mumble which we use for voice communication. You will be sent a private message on this website with mumble details as soon as your application is accepted, for information on installing mumble please go here: www.brtd.net/mumble

Please start using Mumble within the next week so the officers can register you and get you into the thick of BRTD operations. When you first log onto mumble you will not have the proper rights to move from the lobby, as such just hold tight there and someone will pop up and welcome you to the outfit and get you started. If you have any trouble please consult the FAQ section:: www.brtd.net/support or ask an officer who will be happy to assist you. If for any reason you cannot log onto mumble within a week of your application submission, just send which ever officer accepted your application a message on the BRTD website saying why so we don't remove you due to inactivity.

All relevant information of the many events we run in BRTD can be found here: www.brtd.net/community/outfit-events

Training nights are on Thursday and Sunday at 8pm GMT where we take you through tactics BRTD use and make sure you know the basics so you can enjoy the game as much as we do.

Along with training every Thursday and Sunday we run “Monday night Madness” which is always a good laugh! In this event we hold races, showdowns, and many more things to boot. A point to note, sometimes even station cash prizes are given!

Also just pop to this link and introduce your self to the rest of our members: www.brtd.net/forum/2-Public-Forum/7-hello-and-welcome

Our outfit plays on the EU Miller server; our squads are often open and listed (though ask on mumble for an invite if they are not). When you are set up on Mumble, please ask an officer for an outfit invite so you can join our squads in-game.

We request that all the outfit members like us on Facebook and/or twitter as this really helps with the community aspect and also keeps everyone up to date if there are any important news. Links to both of these pages can be found on the left hand side of the main website (www.brtd.net) or do the search option for Facebook. Name: BRTD or twitter: ps_brtd
we hope you enjoy your time with us!

Regards,
Sharpe
