Name: Erik Andersson
In-Game name: Eriand
Age: 24
Location: Stockholm, Sweden.
Previous Planetside experience: Since mid-way through Beta, so roughly 5+ months.
Outfit history (if applicable): None, really.
Other (online) games you have played / achievements: Most battlefield games (Project Reality!), the ARMA-series, Total War-series etc.
Do you have a mic? Yes/No: Yes, of course.
What you hope to bring to BRTD: Teamplay, victory and a bubbling & fun personality.
What made you choose this outfit over any other organized outfit? I wanted to fight with an outfit that had a hierarchical structure - one where you follow orders (even if it leads to your unpleasant demise). BRTD was high up on the list as it seemed like one of the overall best choices for organized and fun teamplay.
What is your preferred play style: Infantry/Armour/Aircraft? I enjoy all play styles! When I go infantry I mostly play as a Light Assault or Medic (always loved being a medic in FPS, and the LA is a pure havoc/fun-machine),but I also love flying the ESFs (Both A2A and A2G) as well as rumbling in a tank/lightning (as an engi). I usually go ESF or Infantry though, but that's mostly because that's where I've put most of my points on my old characters.
Anything else you'd like to add: Yes, Eriand is a new character. I also have a Rank 5 Terran Republic (named Etic) and a rank 23 VS (named Nebarus, on Woodman). I had a rank 10 NC character as well (named Eriand) but deleted it since I wanted to use the nick for my new main (Eriand, that is).
Why did I swap from my rank 23 VS? Well to be honest I am kind of tired of the Scythe as well as the VS gun-mechanics, which is why I created Etic and gave Terran a try (I also played Terran throughout most of the Beta). I've come to realize that I really do love the Terran guns and vehicles (mossy!), which is why I'm moving my focus to this character (Eriand).
Work/playtime situation: I work in PR, which at times means I have to be away on work for a couple of days (business trips). However, maintaining a minimum of 5 hours a week of gameplay shouldn't be a problem.
Thanks,
Eri
