Grenade Collision: Why it's fucked up

Just found this on Reddit, suddenly it all makes sense,

Basically the grenade model is stuck to a giant beach ball meaning that when you throw it anything that hits the giant ball section will result in a deflection.

well at least thats something.

apparently spheres are the easiest thing to detect collision with so its probably an optimization thing
