New patch notes are up, there are a lot of them :)

was going to copy and paste them over but there are far too many so here are a couple of things:

Spawn Beacons can no longer be placed inside facility walls

You can now deploy at any warpgate regardless of your current continent.

Functionality for a squad leader to mark a cap point has been added. This will add arrows to the objective indicator on the HUD that your squadmates can see. Hold the spot button down (q by default) to bring up the quick menu while targeting a capture point to set the indicator.

We’re going to make changes that require the Harasser to use its speed to get closer to targets and create more risk versus reward. So, the range of most Harasser weapon variants is being lowered. In addition, anti-personnel style vehicle weapons are receiving buffs against light-armor. These weapons also generally have a higher RPM and faster projectiles so they are more capable of hitting a high speed target. Being able to repair on the move is too strong of an advantage, but we do like it as an option. So the effectiveness of repairs made from the rumble seat has been reduced to 30%

Mana Anti-Vehicle Turret Changesprojectile lifespan was reduced from 15 to 10 seconds. This drops its max range to match the AV turret’s render distance.

Nanoweave no longer increases the player’s health pool. It now adds a resistance against infantry small arms and rapid fire vehicle weapons only.All Nanoweave certs have been refunded

Tank mines and anti-personal mines are no longer highlighted by thermal or night vision

As a medic I am dreading what the new TAR is going to be like:/
MAXes also take a fair bit longer to res.

I am looking forward to start using something other than nanoweave now, if only to experiment.

Hmm most of the stuff seems fine, Haraser nerf was overdue

I dont really understand the ESF Nose Cannon changes.
They wanted to stop them from beeing used vs. Infrantry.
yet they drasticly lowered dmg and range acrosse the board....wth?

G30 Vulcan

Max damage decreased from 250 to 167
Max damage range decreased from 200 to 10 meters
Min Damage decreased from 175 to 125
Min Damage range decreased from 500 to 130 meters

Wow they are taking the Vulcan out of the game again (like they did 2-3 Month after launch)
10 Meters Max Damage on a Prowler...so much sense :D :D
oh well it might be back in 4 month or so when they see there is no point to this weapon.

I also dont understand why Tank damage is brought down again...?!

not a big fan of the balance changes yet....but sometime you just need some time to relearn the best use of tools..
all in all, from reading i give this patch 2 Tera-Meh's.

Now the Mechanic (needs to charge up) AND the damage sucks ass LMAO!
Time to equip the Halbert. Or better no Tanks at all since Vanguard shield is still broken :D

hmm i would love to find the patchnotes from last winter/spring when they nerfed the Vulcan to the ground last time.
Would not be suprised if they did the exact same thing now.

Didnt they say they will not touch vulcan except increase bullet velocity? Must have misread something.

In any case it seems Shredder libs will have to fly lower (not that it was ever an issue) and get some break from sniper scythes.

Hmm..lots of patch notes. Bit unsure how to cert HA now with the changes to nano-weave....specifically it NOT stacking with resist shield....

Looks like the Vulcan may be poor now and consequently Prowlers a bit less appealing.

Looks like shredder vs infanty dmg down but Zephyr dmg up - time to re-evaluate?

ZOEs certainly seem less omnipotent....good!

Much to ponder!

VS MAX Zealot Overdrive Engine

This ability has proven to be an all-around upgrade compared to the baseline MAX. It is receiving an overhaul to make it more of a situational ability compared to before. In addition, both the speed and damage increases are being reduced so that the ability better fits into the MAX vs. infantry balance.
The MAX’s movement speed increases by the below amounts when AOE is active
Forward walk speed increases by 50%
Strafe and back walk speeds increase by 43%
Sprint does not get a speed increase, though the MAX will reach top speed faster
The weapon damage increase is now the same across all cert levels
Only close range damage is increased
Far range damage and blast damage are no longer increased
The ability lasts for 15 seconds and it cannot be turned off after activation. This does not change when ranking the ability up
A reuse timer has been added. Each cert rank will reduce this timer
Each cert rank now reduces the damage taken -Just great
Rank 3 is equivalent to the previous amount of damage taken
Ranks 1 and 2 will take slightly more damage
Ranks 4 and 5 will take less damage compared to the previous amount of damage taken
All Zealot Overdrive Engine certs have been refunded

Remember that the damage nerfs to everything are partly in response to nanoweave no longer being a 25% health buff - I doubt things will be *that* different...it's not like I could hit anything with a vulcan at range anyway.

Adrenaline pump FTW!!! Also, so glad I've already got Auraxium on my Jag and Lynx :p

Well unless you are talking about headshots its still kinda the same nanoweave (same amount of bullets needed to kill)

First 10 minutes playing this patch and I found 1 normal snowman and 1 golden :')

And what did they do with the rotary! I feel like I need to empty an entire clip to kill infantry now, it was already bad with the mossie rotary and now it is even worse!

For some reason it made me want to roam the countryside hunting the White Man while listening to the Shaft soundtrack.
A "golden" snowman is still just yellow snow.
