Training [Jan 18, 2015] War Camp 1 (miller or Jaeger*)

Greetings soldiers!

We've been called into war.

Over the past few months the Terran Republic has faced increasing resistance on Auraxis. Not long ago the lunatics and the rebels were nothing but a bunch of unorganized greenies with a few heroes and chieftains in the middle. What we are seeing now can escalate to outright WAR quite quickly.

To rise up to the challenge BRTD is taking up arms, and thus I've set up War Camp 1 to be held on:

Friday 16.1.2015 & Saturday 17.1.2015 @ 18.00 GMT.

We'll either do this on Jaeger* or on Live depending on how many show up.

IF a lot of you guys are in a different timezone I'll change one of the times to something that suit you guys better -- just let me know.

* Jaeger needs the regular client, so no need for test server.

I look forward to seeing as many of you there as possible.

Schedule:

Friday night OP -- infantry and teamplay (16.1.2015):

1) check the squad composition
we'll have a look at how a squad is designed to play together
2) check the arsenal composition
we'll have a look at what we have at our disposal and what we can do with it as a squad
3) breaching buildings basics
we'll have a look at how to breach buildings
4) make a breaching tactics together
we'll make teamplay tactics together to take buildings
5) execute and practice
we'll go play!


Saturday night OP -- infantry, vehicles and combined arms play (17.1.2015):

WILL BE DONE ON LIVE.

Explanations here are pretty much the same as above unless I write something additional.

1) map what vehicles we can use
2) check the arsenal composition
3) combined arms basics
4) map out situations and make a combined arms tactic together
we'll have a look at the situations that combined arms will face, and design the tactics to that
5) go kick ass.
