Previous Planetside experience:
None before I joined the beta through the Alpha Squad package almost 2 months ago.

Outfit history (if applicable):
None, I haven't played in an outfit before.

Other (online) games you have played / achievements:
I have played FPS games including Tribes Ascend, Blacklight Retribution and CS: GOF, but none have had me as interested as Planetside 2. I have also played Starcraft2 a bit, but not a lot.

Do you have a mic? :
Yes.

What you hope to bring to BRTD:
I'm a calm, disciplined and rational-minded person who won't hesitate to sacrifice personal gain for the good of something greater and to achieve a greater goal. I like thinking strategically and tactically. When I do something, I give it my all. I'm eager to learn new things and to improve and become better. But I'm also hoping to simply be a fun person to play together with, even if I have a tendency of getting few worded sometimes.

What made you choose this outfit over any other organized outfit:
Because this seems to be a large, well organized and well established outfit with an emphasis on maturity but also on humor, light-heartedness and fun. You have a long history and obviously know what you're doing. Also, that recruitment trailer that got featured on Command Center was awesome ;)

What do you want from BRTD:
I wish to experience organized play in a group, which I can already tell is the best and most enjoyable way to play Planetside. I also wish to be able to just generally play this game with other people sometimes, even if there isn't anything particularly organized going on at the moment.

What is your prefered play style:
Aircraft is definitely my favorite field at the moment, I spend a lot of time piloting Mosquitos. Otherwise I mostly play Heavy Assault, but enjoy every role and vehicle in the game and will adapt according to what the situation requires. However, I'm currently pretty weak when it comes to driving Sunderers, Galaxies and Liberators.

Anything else you'd like to add:
My spoken English is rusty at the moment to say the least, so I might stutter sometimes and feel a little outside my comfort zone, which might contribute to me talking relatively little. This is just part of my personality though; I'm the kind of person who talks little, but says things that are more thought through when I actually do. Also keep in mind that I'm typically not as serious as I might seem, I do have humor in abundance!

I also wish to tell you, right away, that I might not be in the mood for social team play every time I play. Sometimes I like to be by myself and just zerg around; it does by no means mean that I don't enjoy playing with others or that I don't like you!

I hope that I will have a bunch of fun with you all and that you will find me a good addition to the outfit!

Good day Feradomurus,

I'd like to take the time to welcome you as a trial member of BRTD! You have been accepted on a 2 week trial basis which is a standard procedure for all new recruits. It is required that you download Mumble (our preference over Teamspeak) and use the "Mumble Login" link at the top of the webskly or alternatively use the server details listed here: www.brtd.net/mumble

Please start using Mumble within the next week so that our Officers can set your permissions properly. If you have any trouble please consult the FAQ section: www.brtd.net/faq-guides or ask an officer who will be happy to assist you (you will need an officer to authenticate you on the mumble server when you first log in).

You may also find useful outfit related information in the combined information thread: http://www.brtd.net/forum-s/2-Public-Forum/1355-combined-information-thread

If you will, please introduce yourself to the rest of the outfit by making a post here: http://www.brtd.net/forum-s/2-Public-Forum/7-hello-and-welcome

Check out our Training & Tactical Guides/Suggestions forum to get the low-down on how BRTD operates in-game: http://www.brtd.net/forum/training-tactics-guides-suggestions

Our outfit plays on the Eurydome server; our squads are often open and listed (though ask on mumble for an invite if they are not). The outfit feature in game is currently bugged so until it is fixed we will not be using it and will be relying purely on mumble and ingame squads.

BRTD are currently developing our combined arms approach so there is the potential to branch out into more air or ground vehicle related roles should you want to, but as it stands infantry still form the majority of the skill base in our outfit.

We request that all the outfit members like us on facebook and/or twitter as this really helps with the community aspect. Links to both of these pages can be found on the left hand side of the main website (www.brtd.net).

We hope you enjoy your time with us!

Regards,
Jamriko
