Name: Daniel Karlsson

Age: 32

Location: Finland

In-Game name: MadCowCrazy

Previous Planetside experience: I used to be the outfit leader of the Brotherhood of Steel in Planetside 1. Tried to organise training nights and get people to cooperate but at that time we didn't have teamspeak/vent. I played it until those caves were introduced. Played for about 1 month after that.

Outfit history (if applicable): I got invited during the beta after killing Mcnab a few times. The player I was with said he had been following you guys around and killing you so I started killing him. He got a bit pissed and the next day I was told you guys had been messing with him and I got an outfit invite.

Other (online) games you have played / achievements: I've played most big MMO. WoW, Eve, Lineage 2, Age of Conan

Do you have a mic? yes/no: Yes

What you hope to bring to BRTD: I mainly just want to have fun, to have fun in PS you need to be in an outfit that has a clear goal and good communications. I'm confident BRTD will get there. I prefer to play support classes like Medic and Engineer, I'm sure I've ressed most of you at one point or another. I just hope I can be of help and support the offensive move forwards.

What made you choose this outfit over any other organized outfit: Didn't plan on joining one until Beta ended but got pointed to the website, had a look and liked was I saw so when I was invited I accepted.

What do you want from BRTD: I just want to have fun

What is your prefered play style: Infantry/Armour/Aircraft: Prefer Medic and Engineer play. Support the squad as it moves forwards basically. I prefer shotguns as at long range I stick to healing and ressing, when in close combat I prefer the stopping power of the Nighthawk with exttended mag for 10 shots of doom.

Anything else you'd like to add: I've played most big MMOs, been guild leader a few times and run raids, been in top server guilds and achieved server first kills a few times. Because it's such hard work to be a guild leader I just want to be a grunt and help support the outfit. I just dont want to be a leader anymore, I can run squads if there is need

Hello MadCow,

If you can lead, you're more than welcome here. We need some more Squad Leaders right now. Settle down and have a go!

Due to the circumstance of you being a friend of BRTD's members, I'd be happy to welcome you as a trial member of BRTD! You have been accepted on a 2 week trial basis which is a standard procedure for all new recruits. It is required that you download Mumble (our preference over Teamspeak) and use the "Mumble Login" link at the top of the webskly or alternatively use the server details listed here: www.brtd.net/mumble

Please start using Mumble within the next week so that our Officers can set your permissions properly. If you have any trouble please consult the FAQ section: www.brtd.net/faq-guides or ask an officer who will be happy to assist you (you will need an officer to authenticate you on the mumble server when you first log in).

You may also find useful outfit related information in the combined information thread: http://www.brtd.net/forum-s/2-Public-Forum/1355-combined-information-thread

If you will, please introduce yourself to the rest of the outfit by making a post here: http://www.brtd.net/forum-s/2-Public-Forum/7-hello-and-welcome

Check out our Training & Tactical Guides/Suggestions forum to get the low-down on how BRTD operates in-game: http://www.brtd.net/forum/training-tactics-guides-suggestions

Our outfit plays on the Eurydome server; our squads are often open and listed (though ask on mumble for an invite if they are not). The outfit feature in game is currently bugged so until it is fixed we will not be using it and will be relying purely on mumble and ingame squads.

BRTD are currently developing our combined arms approach so there is the potential to branch out into more air or ground vehicle related roles should you want to, but as it stands infantry still form the majority of the skill base in our outfit.

We request that all the outfit members like us on facebook and/or twitter as this really helps with the community aspect. Links to both of these pages can be found on the left hand side of the main website (www.brtd.net).

We hope you enjoy your time with us!

Regards,
Jamriko
