I'm a friend of your member, Sardaukar, who recommended that I should head over here and introduce myself in order to join this fine bunch in the battle for the control of Auraxis.
My name is Aleksi and the nickname of my character is MasterChief.
I'm 26 years old and live in Helsinki, Finland.
I used to love the original planetside back in 2003 and spent the subsequent years hoping that something like it would pop up.
My wish was granted with the invitation to join PS2 beta 8 years later. It's been a nice ride and I'm very happy to see the game finally launched.
I do not have any specific outfit history worth mentioning ( or what I would remember ) from Planetside, but I've played my share of MMO's all the way from Ultima Online to Eve Online, along with the major FPS shooters (CS, BF etc).
And yes, I do have a mic.
I hope to bring my assault rifle and enthusiasm for this game. Coordinated play makes a game like this much more than the sum of its parts. It's already good, but it can be great.
Also, I've heard good things about this outfit - especially how this is a community that understands the adult player. These days I like to make sure that the time I spend playing is quality time: having a proper outfit is a game-changer in this matter.
That said, I dig infantry, but am looking into aircraft as well.
