Name: Phil

Age: 23

Location: Just outside of London

In-Game name: Paige

Previous Planetside experience: Never played PS1, played PS2 since public launch

Outfit history (if applicable): MFC, currently leaving due to low activity, small size and lack of teamwork, mostly seem to be focusing on GW2

Other (online) games you have played / achievements:
WoW, Swtor, Aion, EvE, Fallen Earth, GW1

Do you have a mic? yes/no: yes, TS3 and mumble

What you hope to bring to BRTD: A valued team player, I understand being in a group means listening to what others want and need. And by joining such a group I'm agreeing to participate. Solo play and desires are for lone-wolf. Also a good hotdrop galaxy pilot, able to land squads on the roof's of bases from near altitude cap safely.

What made you choose this outfit over any other organized outfit: Looking for a medium-large PS2 Outfit who emphasize teamwork, like what I've seen so far. hoping to get involved in some large operations instead of being just a pebble in the sea, seeing my effort amount to something meaningful.

What do you want from BRTD: Teamwork, friendly atmosphere and opportunities to rise to officer inside PS2 itself, capable of leadership roles ingame, Including recruitment, PR and settling disputes.

What is your preferred play style: Infantry/Armour/Aircraft: Infantry > Armour > Aircraft, I own a A2A/A2G mosquito but don't use it much currently, flying solo isn't very enjoyable as I find myself quickly overwhelmed. Likely use it more if I get other air support however.

Anything else you'd like to add: Predominately play HA/Medic, although I can class change if required. Experienced with PS2 (played since public release) and in-game mechanics. Also capable of taking command of squads and platoons, having run many 24-48 man platoons on Miller TR previously (both entirely pug and public outfit).

Greetings Paige,

Welcome to BRTD! You have been placed on a 2 week trial basis which is a standard procedure for all new recruits. It is required that you download Mumble (our preference over Teamspeak) and use the "Mumble Login" link at the top of the webskly or alternatively use the server details listed here: www.brtd.net/mumble

Please start using Mumble within the next week so that our Officers can set your permissions properly. If you have any trouble please consult the FAQ section: www.brtd.net/faq-guides or ask an officer who will be happy to assist you (you will need an officer to authenticate you on the mumble server when you first log in).

You may also find useful outfit related information in the combined information thread: http://www.brtd.net/forum-s/2-Public-Forum/1355-combined-information-thread

If you will, please introduce yourself to the rest of the outfit by making a post here: http://www.brtd.net/forum-s/2-Public-Forum/7-hello-and-welcome

Check out our Training & Tactical Guides/Suggestions forum to get the low-down on how BRTD operates in-game: http://www.brtd.net/forum/training-tactics-guides-suggestions

Our outfit plays on the EU Miller server; our squads are often open and listed (though ask on mumble for an invite if they are not). When you are set up on Mumble, please ask an officer for an outfit invite so you can join our squads in-game.

BRTD are currently developing our combined arms approach so there is the potential to branch out into more air or ground vehicle related roles should you want to, but as it stands infantry still form the majority of the skill base in our outfit.

We request that all the outfit members like us on facebook and/or twitter as this really helps with the community aspect. Links to both of these pages can be found on the left hand side of the main website (www.brtd.net).

We are glad you have chosen to us, and look forward to gaming with you.

Kind Regards,
Jamriko
