Name: Jonathan Johansson
Age: 20
Location: Stockholm, Sweden
In-Game name: Sonaria Server: EU2
Previous Planetside experience:
None I'm afraid
Other (online) games you have played / achievements:
Played World of Warcraft on and off for the last 6 years. Mostly High end raiding and such never liked PvP much.
Eve Online in a very competitive PvP corporation/alliance until the constant 9+ hour alarm clock operations got the better of me.
As for my Online FPS experience I've played a fair deal of Counter Strike 1.6 and BF2.
Do you have a mic?
Yes
What you hope to bring to BRTD:
An eager supporting player who can follow orders and show up on time.
What is your proffered play style:
Medic/Engineer Support roles in general. I can do most anything as required other than pilot a plane, They tend to end up in the sides of mountains whenever I'm in the cockpit.
Anything else you'd like to add:
"In between jobs" at the moment so I may be off to an interview once a week or so, but I don't expect it will affect my game times.

have you tried armour sonaria? as in we have some great pilots. i cant fly for toffee ( im a really bad pilot in ps2).
support roles are composite for a great team.

i myself run engineer/armour. if were holding a base/tower engineers need to keep up with getting ammo down ( at right places when called for and not doubling up), repairs on maxes/vehicles and above all keeping the gen active. blocking doors with turrets and including just being on a pad and repairing a mossie thats baiting reavers/libs into the max AA.

whilst in group youll find an alloted space for the role you chose. be it engi in gen or engi on pads.

listen to SL (squad leader) and be prepared to change into something other than engi such as heavy assault or cycler max when the brown stuff hits the fan

main thing is have fun!

a recruiter will reply with other details. eitherway ill see you planetside :)

Hi Jonathan,

Welcome to BRTD! We will be adding you to the outfit on a 2 week trial basis (standard procedure for new recruits). Please download mumble (our version of Teamspeak) and use the "Mumble Login" link at the top of the website or alternatively use the server details listed here: http://www.brtd.net/community/2-Public-Forum/1413-new-mumble-voice-server#1907

Please try to start using mumble within the next week or so (it's very important for coordination). If you have any trouble please consult the FAQ section: www.brtd.net/faq-guides or ask an officer who will be happy to assist you (you will need an officer to authenticate you on the mumble server when you first log in).

You may also find useful outfit related information in the combined information thread: http://www.brtd.net/community/2-Public-Forum/1355-combined-information-thread

Please also introduce yourself to the rest of the outfit by making a post here: www.brtd.net/community/2-Public-Forum/7-hello-and-welcome

The outfit training officers have a thread set up, so if you require training in any particular gameplay aspect drop them a message at http://www.brtd.net/community/Tactics-Guides--Suggestions/1476-new-members-training

The outfit plays on the EU1 server; our squads are often open and listed (though ask on mumble for an invite if they are not).

The outfit feature in game is currently bugged so until it is fixed we will not be using it and will be relying purely on mumble and ingame squads.

We are currently developing our combined arms approach so there is the potential to branch out into more air or ground vehicle related roles should you want to, but as it stands infantry still form the majority of the skill base in our outfit.

Catch you in-game soon :)
