Name: Mark
Age: 36
Location: Limburg, Netherlands
In-Game name: Spiritus
Previous Planetside experience: Nothing worth mentioning
Outfit history (if applicable): None at all. Played solo and occassionally teamed up. But no outfit experience.
Other (online) games you have played / achievements: Played a lot of different MMO's including EQ1, EQ2, EVE, LOTRO, WOW, Vanguard, SWG, SW ToR, Age of Conan, DDO and STO. From what I can remember. EQ1, EQ2 and WOW I played rather hardcore (in terms of raiding), LOTRO I still play to date (since 2007) and have done about everything in the game. SWG is my big loss and SW ToR became a disappointment after half a year. The others I played casually or did complete alpha/beta. Other than that there is a hoist of 'offline' games I have played and still play (EUIII, Victoria, X3 and Football Manager).
Do you have a mic? yes/no: Yes, if you play MMO's a proper headset is essential
What you hope to bring to BRTD: Commitment to the outfit's actions ( I am a sucker for organisation), teamplay and a healthy dosis of humor.
What made you choose this outfit over any other organized outfit: I have been experiencing some of the operations BRTD has been undertaking in game and compared to other outfits (from what I have seen), I was impressed by the large scale organisation and effort by the outfit leadership and the commitment of the people within the outfit to perfom these actions.
What do you want from BRTD: I hope that being in BRTD will not just give me a better understanding of the game and its mechanics but also the joy of being part of mass organised combat movements and a group of people who are also in this for the fun.
What is your prefered play style: Infantry/Armour/Aircraft: Mainly infantry (light assault, but tend to switch to what is needed), but like to do some Armour occassionally as well. Oh, I can't fly.. heh.
Anything else you'd like to add: I was never much of a FPS player, but Planetside2 has really tickled my interest in the genre. I am no hardcore player anymore, those day are behind me, but I usually log in 2-3 nights a week for a session of at least 3-4 hours. Oh and the code of conduct link on the join us page leads back to the join us page.
