Previous Planetside experience: 6-8 months hardcore playing just after launch, bought CC but rarely ventured below ground and stopped playing the game not too long after.

Outfit history (if applicable): I was a member of KuntrasKillers (sp?) on Werner for most of my time in PS1.

Other (online) games you have played / achievements: A LOT of mmo's (SWG, TOR, EvE, EQ2, Vanguard, GW2) plus various online FPS games on PC and Xbox. At the moment i've mainly been playing GW2, Borderlands 2 and will probably pick up Halo 4 next week.

Do you have a mic? yes

What you hope to bring to BRTD: Bullets! I tend to play support classes so i'd like to think i can make myself useful in keeping people going out in the field.

What made you choose this outfit over any other organized outfit? I'm a long time member of another gaming community that formed way back in SWG, over time as we have branched off to other games we have kept our forums going as a way of keeping in touch. One of the guys from there (Welph) advised he had joined you guys and was having a good time in the outfit. Another member of the community said he remembered playing in your outfit back in PS1 and you were a good bunch. That's enough for me.

What is your preferred play style: I prefer infantry, happy to man guns on vehicles but i'm not too interested in driving one other than getting from A to B. I tend to stay away from max suits too and normally play some kind of support role (sniper, engineer, medic).

Anything else you'd like to add: I've been taking my time in beta a little easy and not doing too much as i wasn't sure whether there was going to be a character wipe before release. Welph nudged me to try out the game as part of a more organised team so i thought i'd sign up before launch rather than playing solo through the beta.

Consider yourself on a 2 week trial basis which is SOP for all new recruits. Go ahead and download Mumble, and use the "Mumble Login" link at the top of the webpage, or alternatively use the server details listed here: www.brtd.net/mumble

Go ahead andt use Mumble ASAP so we can set your permissions properly. If you have any trouble please consult the FAQ section: www.brtd.net/faq-guides or ask an officer who will be happy to assist you (you will need an officer to authenticate you on the mumble server when you first log in).

Our outfit plays on the Eurydome server; our squads are often open and listed (though ask on mumble for an invite if they are not). The outfit feature in game is currently bugged so until it is fixed we will not be using it and will be relying purely on mumble and ingame squads.

BRTD is currently developing our combined arms approach so there is the potential to branch out into more air or ground vehicle related roles should you want to, but as it stands infantry still form the majority of the skill base in our outfit.

Make sure when talking on voice comms, use your in-game name instead of "i". (e.g. : "Boostoff needs repairs." or "Can Boostoff get a squad invite.")
