Hello and thanks a lot for allowing me to trial for you outfit!

I am Val, 35 years old and live in Berlin.

I have a 9 month old son, who loves the moving lights when I play.

I love PS2 so far and even bought into the Alpha Squad (I even had 500+ Station Points left over from MTG...) and really look forward to strategic, cooperative play!

I listen to a lot of music of the heavy kind and goa ;O

Thanks for allowing me try out!

My name is Leif, 26 from the UK.

Never played PS1 unfortunately, but have been loving the PS2 beta for three months or so. Really looking forward to getting down to business with some organisation instead of the zerg!

Cheers,

Hi folks, I'm Eunson from the UK. Turning 30 at the end of the year but don't hold that against me!

Played a bit of PS1 as well as a multitude of other games. Been a gamer for the best part of two decades.

I'm currently hitting the field as HA (saving for that sweet, sweet MCG) but looking to branch out into armour and air eventually.

Hihi
I am Zyhmet or Felix in RL.
I live in Graz/Austria and I am 18 years old.
I play Planetside 2 since 4 days so pls excuse me if I need help with something,
so that I can help new Recruits in the near future.
When playing I like to back up others by sniping or healing them.
So hopefully I will get to know you all and cover your back from the NC and Vanu attacks. :)

Hello gents!

I'm Purestorm.

I'm 20 and I live in Dundalk, Ireland. I'm currently in my 3rd year of uni studying Computer Science.
My PS1 experience is sadly nonexistent. That game passed under my radar when it was released so I never heard of it prior to PS2 being announced.

Skyguards are my thing, so if you guys need some AA badly, I'm your man!

Hi all

Im Gawen ingame, had to take that since I made my normal name Gawin is on another char.

Im a 39 year old swede living in stockholm, RL name is Magnus. I work with support in IT.

I have a little experience with Planetside 1, tried it on and off for a bit. But was to tied up in other games so I never really dug into the game enought. Have been part of the Planetside 2 beta for a few weeks and I love it. This is the reason I started to look around for a good outfit, to enhance the experience within the game. Found BRTD and you seemed to be a good outfit, found out 2 old friends was playing with you and that sealed the deal.

I mostly like to play Infantry, but have no bigger problems with armour. Aircrafts are my weakness atm, but working on getting better at it.

Hey guys,

Cheers for the opportunity to try out. I'm iniquix, ini or Matt which ever's easier.

I'm 26 years old and live in the lovely South-West of England in some desolate town in the middle of no where, don't ask me how I ended up here... I blame the misses!

I for some reason never got round to playing Planetside 1 which in hindsight was a massive mistake after everything I've been told but even so have been enjoying Planetside 2 beta the last weeks. As stated in my recruitment post I'm looking to find out what works for myself and for the outfit I'm in so I can contribute where needed.

Looking forward to meeting you guys later on mumble.

Feeling awkward for not making application topic, so I'll introduce myself here. Well, maybe I will even get mumble rights.

My name is Anton, 24 years old russian guy aka "Soberson". I never played Planetside before, never even heard of it, really.
I havent been in any outfit, BRTD is my first PS community. I've been invited by BigAl I think because he only from BRTD is on my friendlist, so I'm playing with you guys for week or so, cant tell exactly.

Speaking of games, I mostly prefer MMOs, was playing Lineage 2 for nearly 5 years, EVE Online for 6 months (quit becaue couldnt find corp). I also played such FPS as Battlefield Bad Company 2, Quake 3, Counter-Strike. I play a lot of games, I'm a so called "gaming type" of person. Since I play online a lot i've got mic and not afraid of using it (actually I do because I hardly speak English).

For me BRTD looks like well established community, so mainly I hope to consolidate and fortify our battalion, by spirit and arms. My Medic is at your service.

Vodka! Cheers!

I have never looked at this thread and so here goes.

My name is Jeff and I live in the US state of Washington. I am 43 years old and am married with two boys. I actually started playing PS1 in beta and played for about 3 months into retail. I quit due to the lag of the servers after it launched. Planetside has always been my favorite game due to the large scale of the battles and the overall tactical complexity. I could never find that in any other FPS as it wasn't attempted. Now I am sure that someone will mention some "XYZ" game, but F that!. PS or F off!

I started looking into PS2 about a year ago based upon an online article that I read. After reading that I figured that it would best to refamiliarize myself with the game and so I resubbed to PS1 in February 2012. I wasn't online for 15 minutes and DeltaWidow asked if I wanted to join BRTD. I have always been in "clans" in my FPS world and said, "Yes." It is the best decision that I have made in my gaming life. The members were always willing to listen to my bullshit questions and teach me the ropes.

Little ramble to follow:

My gaming name is [dna]RIP. The [dna] was my Tactical Ops clan tag (Tactical Ops was an Unreal Tournament mod). PS1 wouldn't allow brackets, so my name evolved to dnaRIP. People started calling me "dna" and it has stuck. So much so, that I now refer to myself as "dna". My ebay name is "dna4lifes". Bottom line is that I am one loyal motherfucker to my gaming pals. Mess with the best and die like the rest!

p.s. I approve of this message after a bottle of wine.

Hey there ladies, and Frankies.

Many of you may already know me. my callsign is Sliver (CPLSliver at the moment but changing when game launches) my real name is James, I'm 30yrs old and I live in the craptastic state of Maryland on the east coast of the United States, about an hour and a half drive away from the president. much too close in my opinion. I started playing planetside with my cousin on the NC. he picked the faction, I joined him about the 2nd week of the game's launch. as I was deployed when the game went live. I am a Navy Veteran. My cousin decided to join the Army, which left me solo playing as an NC. and well, I didn't really take to it. so I tried out the VS which made me want to kill myself, so then I tried the TR. which mainly drew my attention as it was the true patriotic faction. the NC and VS are just criminal thugs. I played on the emerald server for awhile, until the servers merged. I was a member of an outfit called Terran Elite Guard. some of our CR5s were DJs for planetside radio. I took a break from the game for a bit and returned often, but found that TEG was no longer around, so I joined Terran Republic Guard. spent some time with them, but had to take another break. some real life wars and such. got married and settled down when I got out of the service and started back up in planetside when I heard about planetside 2. that is when I joined BRTD.

I am of the opinion that planetside is the greatest FPS ever made, and was really hoping that PS2 would just be planetside with a facelift. better graphics, maybe a little better on the controls, but over all just the same game.
