I'm Poozel and I'm an alcoh... Sorry wrong forum. I'm Poozel and I'm a 43 year old gamer from the West Country in the UK (Yes we do have tractors and turnips oddly enough!) that has played a shed load of FPS games and MMO's over the years and looking forward to seeing what SOE can do to merge the two genres.
I'm usually quite happy either sitting in a tank or lugging a rocket launcher around (I don't do subtle with weapons) so if you want a large dent put insomething then please free to call.

Just found your web site - looks grand.
Thought I'd post since we've 'played together' for quite a while now - really enjoy having you lads and lasses around and now I've seen some of your videos.. I've gotta say.. you lot know how to have a laugh! :cheer:
We don't try to target the names we know vindictively btw if we are in a tank... but the choice between some random scrub and one of the gypos we regularly play with (al, nacho, deltawidow, frankies) we may say 'oo its [xxx]' (I'm sure the same applies for all the old school that recognise each other)
I'm a vintage scrote from PS1 era... all of our guys are TR veterans from the Werner times so we dress in purple but actually are wearing Red and Black underpants. Migrated to Vanu when the numbers dwindled in our old outfit Blood Legion... leaving only a few of us on... and as you know... we've stayed in the Magrider ever since. First rule of Planetside : Don't get outta the tank!

I'm Baljet and have been playing games for some time. I was one of the co-founders of APE back in PS1 and cannot wait to get stuck into PS2. I've played most FPS and have been honing my twitch reflexes on CS:GO most recently, my MMO history stretches back to the launch of Eve which I still dabble in.
I've not got to grips with the new flying systems so will be sticking to ground work unless you need a gunner. Primary will be Heavy Assault I expect to be doing some Sniping and Repairing too!

You do realise that people get extra outfit points for scoring you or/and chal on the kill board??
Ima miss hacking your magrider though I will say when you go to glue it ^^

Hi Folks! Recruit Biblin reporting for duty. I missed PS1 when APE was formed but anyone who's played with us in subsequent games (Eve, WoW, WAR, etc) or frequents the apegaming boards/irc will know me well.
As per most of the APEs I'm a 30something gamer from Reading with a disgracefully large percentage of my life wasted on shooting people, people's ships, peoples tanks and so on. I can't imagine I'll stop just yet. Had a hell of a lot of fun as infantry in the beta (considerably more than in a vehicle), so I imagine I'll be doing that quite a lot. Looking forward to plenty of murdering folk based on their colour.

hey guys, im thekernowranger aka chris but jus call me kernow (kur-no).
im a 38year old cornish gamer who's 1st 'pc' was the humble c-16 and have built all but 1 of the many pc's ive owned.
i love to play fps's properly, like get in a squad/platoon and work as a team to get the objectives completed with full voice comms. thats what i prefered to do with bc2 and bf3, don't enjoy playin them as much wen goin solo.
i never played the 1st planetside but i did get into the closed beta for the new one and downloaded it as soon as was possible wen it went live.
oh btw i always like to run as a medic in all the fps games i play, i tend to be in the front lines getting shot lots so need to heal meself lots n lots. although i have no problems with changing class temporarily to get an objective done. i've tried using the ingame voice comms for proximity and squad but very raely does anyone respond. this is why i was looking to join an outfit, so it was perfect for simmo to mention his outfit, i like simmo's style of play and i liked the sound of your style of play and here i am.
i hope i can prove to be of some use to you in the field guys, il be the one getting shot at and healing and reviving evry1.

Jason here a.k.a ZeroJee (or ShiXia on other games/servers) I'm a 40 y/o artist and jack of all trades living in the US-West. I've been gaming since the days of pong and the Atari 2600. I mostly enjoy mmogs, [rpg, fps, 3ps]. Lately I haven't had much going on, so I'm able to spend more than a few hours a week gaming.
Aside from painting--family/friends, food, sci-fi, tattoos, and laughs are huge priorities.
This is my first Planetside experience and well, I'm hooked! Right now I use the assault/heavy/engineer mostly. The flying bit is new so I've been spending much of my time in game with that--in particular as a Galaxy pilot. I like the idea of hot dropping troops into battlezones and getting out by the skin of my teeth, flak bursting all around me. So far I've only improved the turrets for more ammo/optical zoom.
When I'm infantry I love the assault and have been putting extra points toward that. The Max is way cool, especially with a few Engineers near by. Like others I'm willing to switch it up depending on the needs of the unit. Flying into combat and bailing out of my ship has lead me to some good times as an engineer too. I really like the support roles just as much as bringing the pain. Overcome and adapt is my motto!
Aside from all that, I'm looking forward to making new friends, getting into the thick of it, and having some good times. See you Planetside!
