Heavy FPS player played all the major games COD, BF etc. Use to be a heavy PS1 player as well.

Hello everyone I'm Reth. I'm from England and I have been playing MMOs for longer than I can remember now, and games of all genres since I was 6. Hardcore raiding in MMOs is what I used to do the majority of the time but now I have decided to move to Planetside 2. I am also a huge fan of RPGs such as Knights of the old republic ( not the MMO ) and Mass effect. But I have a pretty strong steam library full of games of all genres.

Hi folks, Pete here (aka ChromeNewt aka WarPingu). Been playing MMO games since Ultima Online. Played the first Planetside since just after launch, met JeffBeefJaw and the rest of the awesome APEs and fell in love with the game. Left due to all kinds of financial and time reasons but did so unwillingly. Been on many beta tests of games, looking for the PS fix and never finding it. Then the PS2 beta test came along and I had to rejoin.

When I'm not working or gaming I like to do MilSim and FilmSim airsoft, and if I'm feeling particularly geeky and nerdy I also go larping. I make it look good though. I balance this extreme nerdiness with copious amounts of clubbing and drinking.

Hey there! Docs here (Or Ben if you like) 21 and living in England. I tend to play an awful lot of MMOs, although Planetside 2 is probably the first in a long time to really keep me coming back even though I've been playing since the tech test. (I spent far too much time in a Mosquito without access to any unlocks or weapons other than the default cannon during that time) Still fun somehow. :lol:

I've played nearly every major FPS in the past 18yrs.......some I have been rubbish at, most average and occasionally so awesome that I have been accused of cheating (BF2142 & BFBC2).

I've beta'd most of the MMO's released since EQ1 so you might describe me as a seasoned gamer

hey im madhava aka xzito ingame. 22 year old from the Netherlands.

Hmm i like the big scale warfare of planetside 1 but at that age i had no creditcard so i could only enjoy the free 30 days after the beta that sony gave me.

After that the planetside reverse program came out and still did not have a creditcard or paypal at that time. but i was fine playing till max rank 14 and having x amount of cert points. loved the huge GAL drops.

I like shooters but the older types more like : UT2004/003 Qauke 3 Tribes Vengeance II etc love the tribes games.

I am 42, married to an awesome wife that hates playing games herself but totally supports me doing it. We also have 3 young girls.

Been playing PS1 from beta till about 2010 and already thought that was one of the best mmo's ever, even with it's many many many flaws. So PS2 feels really familiar but also is such an improvement to the original.

Also happy to see a lot of you are about the same age as me (42), makes me feel less out of place
