Help with my I7 core

Is their a way to perm hyperthread your cpu? I have a I7-2630QM with CPU of 2.00 GHz But it hyperthreads to 2.9 was wondering if theirs a program or overclocking I could do to get that hyperthreading to stay at 2.9 Thank you again!!!

Depending on your temps you can either just oc your processor or manually diable hyperthreading and put it to 2.9GHz. Overall you shouldn't need to do that though, if your CPU thinks it needs the 2.9 it'll automatically stay there until it doesnt need it. Thats the good thing about hyperthreading.

It lifts the CPU throttleing on i& CPU's and other chipsets.
What graphics card are you running?

Never mind, found your build thread..

Make sure you have the NVidia driver 304.79, it's better optimized for PS2

And check out Gamebooster, it sped me up 8 or 9 FPS, and "Optimized" my computer 40% moar! lol
