Not on for a bit, well not until i fix this Infrastructure crash..... I only replace 1 disk and I killed everything.

Raid 6. I replaced one drive which then crashed the SAN during the rebuild which then fucked 20 VMS across two hosts which then envoked HA which is now fucking it all and crash the NAS and the Hosts....

To top it off DHCP if I make a change to anything the phone system goes tits. If HA (VMware) activate on any of the VMs the entire host has to be rebooted which in turn can crash the NAS.

Fucking catch 22. My boss also is in Dallas and he is the VM specialist. Im still learning the product.

So when people say raid 0... mate this shit (mirror) is uber crap but if it would solve my issue then I would use it. We think our SAN is on it way.... great.... more shit.

Yeh me but it all stable at the moment so I am running for the hills until my boss is back.

Command of the day. How to stop HA on a Host without using VCenter

From SSH on the screwed host type /etc/init.d/vmware-fdm stop

That shit there is a life saver.
