Nexus Battle - RNX vs JNJ - Before and After talk

I will be hosting and providing commentary on the match between RNX vs JNJ which is taking part on Sunday @ 7pm GMT
Above you will find a link to the Live Stream before and during the event, there will be a delay on the stream so comments will be seen and replied to however you may not hear the reply for a minute or two.

The match will include Live Scoring and a Timer!

The Live Stream will be available in 720p. After the event is finished you will be able to instantly click the link or rewind to re-watch some of the action. For the first hour after the event it will only be available in 360p until YouTube Processes the video and then it will be available in 720p.

Couple of us was talking about this in your wasp vs brtd vid during stream that you need to have a more spectator view to this, staying back above the battle using zoom in rather then actually moving into the battle as if you were fighting yourself - you have a very fps feel to the spectating. Just some feedback

I'll be trying to improve on the viewing experience!

Is also a twist dealing with two German Outfits, whole new Organization experience for me xD

For some reason I keep hearing "schießen die Engländer!".

My suggestions:
- Camera angle as suggested by DeltaWidow
- Set up your ui colors to match the scoreboard, "blue is blue, red is red"

Maybe also play as VS (if possible) so you will see each side equally so you can use the 'q spot' key to see names, etc (No VS will be present so wont affect either team)

Indeed. It's funny/sad that Pro7 and Sank are doing a far better job at this than SOE and MLG.

Appreciate the comments but I'm not sure about me being better than MLG...
I've not seen any of MLG stuff fully so not sure what kinda stuff they have, but I bet more flashy than mine etc...

Congratz to JNJ. Both teams fought well. Even though JNJ got the plant cap RNX did a good job at keeping up the pressure and fought to the bitter end.

Some notes::
- I liked the initial strategy on both sides. Get a gal to the enemy starter base and delay em. Definently something for us to keep in mind, at the very least how to counter it (Kamikaze Gal ramming theirs?)
- JNJ focused on A and C, which was a good thing since those two points could assist each other.
- Speaking of which, JNJ did a good job at having those at A support those at C. RNX not so much.
- RNX didn't use nearly enough darts, they were constantly caught by surprise when JNJ made heavy pushes.
- RNX seemed too defensive when they were on offense. They should have made more of a push for C.
- Always clear out the enemy medics, always. Killing a few of the enemies just isn't good enough when they have medics. This is something I noticed both teams had issues with, but especially RNX because they were on the offensive most of the time.
- Take out the enemy's spawn capability. For some reason JNJ didn't focus on RNX's AMS':/

I noticed these mistakes as well. I will update our Nexus strategy topic because their is a lot to learn here.

Was a very enjoyable match ^_^ lots of action!
I mentioned the Gal into the other's Base at start in my Nexus Base Overview video a while back.

From my POV as Streamer:

[li]I think I floated around less and just got into a good viewing point for viewers just to watch the action instead of me trying to move around as if I was in 1st Person running around.[/li]
[li]In the BRTD match re-watching, I didn't like that I left the score on the screen the entire match, so I only brought it up when and if there were changes or that I was [/li]

[li]Had an issue with Units being Factional and Bases weren't, hence my confusion at start, I've rectified mid stream and wont affect future streams![/li]

As I always say, I'm still learning, Looking to improve things and invest money into what I'm doing. You all mentioned I float around too much so I cut down this time xD

I want to further develop my HUD's and all that kind of stuff to look more professional! Got an awesome Mic now, green screen works very well!

At same time, i have a child coming in Feb, That should make streams a lot more fun!
