Last couple of weeks I've had the misfortune of being plagued by really bad internet. What specifically you might ask? My ping times to ANY server (not just Planetside) are creeping up into the 5000ms range. That's right. 5 seconds. This happens randomly but frequently. Planetside is currently unplayable, as are all other multiplayer games.
Until I can resolve the situation, you won't be seeing much of me.
