Name: Chris

Age: 18

Location: Northern Ireland

In-Game name: RonaldLAD

Previous Planetside experience: I never played the original Planetside, but since I started playing this one, I've been playing it as much as possible, really great game!

Outfit history (if applicable): I was in a small-ish outift for a while (can't remember it's name), but a lot of it's players were inactive, so I left and started looking for a new one.

Other (online) games you have played / achievements: Arma 2, Left4Dead 2, Battlefield 3 and a few others, but those are the main few. As for achievements, I can't really think of anything off the top of my head that I'd consider a achievement.

Do you have a mic? yes/no: Not currently, but I plan to get a descent headset soon!

What you hope to bring to BRTD: To get better at the game, and have good fun, I try not to take things too seriously, so I guess you could say that I bring light-hearted banter! =]

What made you choose this outfit over any other organized outfit: Well I heard it is the most/one of the most active outfits in the game, it happened to be on the server I play on, the right faction, and I was looking for an outfit to join, so I thought I'd apply and hopefully end up being part of a great community =]

What do you want from BRTD: A community of people that I can play and have fun with.

What is your prefered play style: Infantry/Armour/Aircraft: Infantry mainly, although I'm starting to get into flying a bit more.

Anything else you'd like to add: If there are any other games that this community play together, I would be up for joining in on that =]

Welcome Chris

I would like to take the time to welcome you as a trial member of BRTD! You have been accepted on a 2 week trial basis which is a standard procedure for all new recruits. This doesn't mean you are not in the outfit, but the recruit tag is something we can track how often you play with us and how integrate with BRTD itself. It is required that you download Mumble (our preference over Teamspeak) and use the "Mumble Login" link at the top of the website or alternatively use the server details listed here: www.brtd.net/mumble

For the Mumble voice server password I will sent you a PM. Check the community tab at the top of the website

Please start using Mumble within the next week so that our Officers can set your permissions properly. If you have any trouble please consult the FAQ section: www.brtd.net/faq-guides or ask an officer who will be happy to assist you (you will need an officer to authenticate you on the mumble server when you first log in).

Training nights are on Thursday and Sunday at 2000 GMT ( Timezone we use for everything). If you have any questions regarding the game itself and BRTD operations never hesitate to ask me or 1 of the other training officers. Also good nights to be on are Monday Night madness, Friday Night ops and Saturday Rave night.

You may also find useful outfit related information in the combined information thread: www.brtd.net/forum-s/2-Public-Forum/1355...d-information-thread

If you will, please introduce yourself to the rest of the outfit by making a post here: www.brtd.net/forum-s/2-Public-Forum/7-hello-and-welcome

Check out boot camp section on the top to get up to speed on how BRTD operates in-game: www.brtd.net/bootcamp

Our outfit plays on the EU Miller server; our squads are often open and listed (though ask on mumble for an invite if they are not). When you are set up on Mumble, please ask an officer for an outfit invite so you can join our squads in-game..

We request that all the outfit members like us on facebook and/or twitter as this really helps with the community aspect and also keep up to date if there is any important news. Links to both of these pages can be found on the left hand side of the main website (www.brtd.net) or do the search option for facebook. Name: BRTD or twitter: ps_brtd
We hope you enjoy your time with us!

Regards,
RedSnow
